4500 Mistakes

     

     Humans have a tendency to make mistakes. By mistake, they have learnt the prowess of nuclear-enigma. By mistake, they have come up with a nearly impeccable trading system. By mistake, they comprehended every nuance of mother Earth. But, not every mistake is as benevolent as these cited three. 
     About 7000 years ago, someone did an indelible mistake. Realizing the impotence of humans’ discovery, he put forward a theory; THE THEORY OF GOD. 
     GOD – you can’t sense him, but you can feel him. He always lingers around you. Only, you need to ask and he will aid you by all means. The concept was clear – “God is a friend who boosts your inner strength, makes you valiant and self-assured.” Till then, everything was hunky-dory. But that mistake was repeated. And it was repeated again and again. So far, we have nearly 4500 concepts of god.


     By birth, you are smeared with one of those 4500 colours. If you wish to mix up with any clique besides yours, you will have to rub off the label you’ve got on your forehead first. Yet, there is a tenuous possibility that you would be accepted with open-arms. Having same sort of flesh and blood as theirs, you might be ostracised from both families or even worse - eliminated. Why? - Because, your way of finding virtue is different.
     The purpose of creating religions was reverential. But now, an intrinsic part of that purpose has been ravaged - contaminated. This new tainted belief preaches us, “We Hindus, we Muslims, we Christians… ”.
     Fleeing from all these dogmas, try and enunciate, “WE HUMANS.” Otherwise, it won’t take long when we turn this vivid world of ours into nothing but an ocean of desolated isles – perhaps, by mistake.
