When
the night burgeons,
When
fierce thunder roars in resonance,
Afraid,
you huddle up in the corner,
Parrying
those evil guffaws – those only you can hear.
When
the drops of rain fall down
On
the vast fertile ground,
It
reminds you of that night,
In
lieu of earth’s demure sight.
When
the breezes blow,
Delinquent
but very slow,
You
grasp the scarf the tightest,
Chastising
those marks on your chest.
Little
do I know you!
I
know a lot,
I
know your nightmare,
I
know your past,
I
know about that night –
That
you desperately want to forget…
Let
the time have our ‘adieu’,
I
can… and I will wait.
Your
agony is yours only,
No
one can steal.
But
I can help you…
Help
you to let it heal.
I
can swap those faces of evil
With
my little smile,
Can
show you how sweet this world is…
Just
embrace me as will you this salubrious breeze.
