Eternal Loneliness

I didn’t let you know how much I cared for you,

Only held an umbrella above your head,

When raindrops were blitzing in rage.

Stood by your side forever,

Even when the entire world turned savage.

I didn’t let you hear the cry of my heart,

Silently looked into your eyes,

And felt more pain than you did.

Observed your feathery hair –

Swaying to the whistle of wind.

Through the thousands of stars sparkle

Up in the wide black sky,

I let my heart sail,

Let it fly…

Could not find you though,

It was just a silly dream after all.

I didn’t let you have my sorrow,

Didn’t let you hear my call.

I didn’t let you know of my love!

Yet, it was as true as all astral figures above.
